Construction Management | Pre-Engineered Metal Building | Concrete | Carpentry
70,000 square foot manufacturing facility; 116,000 square foot expansion

Immel Construction continues to partner with Nature’s Way on multiple expansion and maintenance projects at their locations in Green Bay.

Description

This project was a large-scale production facility for Nature’s Way, the preeminent brand of quality dietary supplements to improve consumers’ health and well-being. The development is the culmination of years’ worth of collaboration with the client over numerous projects at their existing facilities.

The first phase of construction for the international brand included a 70,000 square foot, pre-engineered metal building to house the production of the company’s latest product line - gummies. Demand for health-related supplements and gummies skyrocketed during the pandemic in 2020, and Nature’s Way took advantage of the need and expanded to the gummy industry. The facility helped grow the company exponentially, previously offering a couple hundred products and employing 200 people to now include over 1,000 different items and 700 employees.

In addition to the original manufacturing facility, Immel Construction was selected as the Construction Manager for the 116,000 square foot plant expansion. This expansion over doubled the space for Nature’s Way to include additional manufacturing lines and allow space for future expansion. Three separate phases were developed to complete this pre-engineered metal building expansion.
