Description

This design-build project for McDonald Companies created a new waste transfer station for recycled materials. Immel Construction designed and constructed the over 18,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building along with 64,000 square feet of asphalt on site.

This highly functional project has continued to provide behind-the-scenes benefits to the community and the environment. Because of the location and purpose of this waste transfer facility, less transportation of recyclable materials is needed resulting in fuel savings, reduction of road wear, fewer waste vehicles on the road, reduced traffic congestion.
