70,000 Square Foot Addition & Renovation
Over the first 6 months of operation, the new Collision Center increased over half a million in sales, serviced 200 more vehicles than previously capable, and generated the parts department another half million in parts sales compared to the previous year.

Description

Immel Construction completed several phases of remodels to the corporation’s multiple dealerships, the most expansive bring the addition and renovation of the new 70,000 square foot Collision Center, the largest auto body repair facility in the Midwest.

The main working area of the Collision Center houses 47,000 square feet for the highest quality collision and painting tech services. A dedicated 11,600 square foot detailing room provides space for employees working with both new and used vehicles. A spacious customer service area and a new 1,650 square foot drive-in addition focuses on providing an inviting and comfortable experience from start to finish. The second floor of the building houses dealership administrative personnel with multiple collaboration spaces, both private and cubicle offices, and breakrooms.

Thoughtful planning has allowed for the creation of much needed space for all facilities. The renovation of the new Collision Center adjacent to the existing Volkswagen and Chevrolet Dealerships has more than double the size of the existing facility to offer drive-through estimating services, 42 repair bays, and six paint booths. The Volkswagen facility remodel also doubled in size, and the Chevrolet customer lounge and restroom upgrades tripled in size.
