The Bellin Health Cancer Team is northeast Wisconsin’s premiere care group, searching out the latest in treatment technology to provide the highest level of care possible. The construction of a 11,700 square foot addition at the Bellin Cancer Center now houses new chemo infusion areas, exam rooms, chemical pharmacy, staff desk areas, and has become the primary site for all infusions.
The new pharmacy has addressed the Cancer Team’s growing needs, totaling approximately 2,100 square feet compared to the existing 820 square-foot pharmacy. Providing an onsite pharmacy has created an added convenience for patients to get their medications at one location. Thirteen new private infusion bays equipped with heated chairs, personal TVs, and shared kitchen area have allowed for treatment of up to 15 patients at a time.
